Bachlors of Design B.Des

Specializations offered:Graphic Design, Video Film Design, Animation Film Design, User Experience Design, Product Design, Interior Space Design, Fashion Design, Fashion Communication.

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) Full time

Eligibility:

• A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% (SC/ST – 45%) aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for the above-mentioned programme.
• A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma programme may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for the above mentioned programme.

Fees Structure: Rs. 2,20,000

SID Alumni have earned a good status in several corporate business houses and renowned design studios. Several enterprising students are proud owners of start-up business and a number of them are successfully pursuing Post-Graduate programs at reputed Design Schools in India and Abroad. Symbiosis Institute of Design has a Placement cell. This cell facilitates as a body to coordinate between the industry and the students. Pre-placement as well as placement work is arranged for the eligible students through this cell. Design is a practice based discipline and SID has established “Symbiosis Design Cell” within the institute to encourage industry to collaborate and seek consultancy services from our esteemed faculty members.
